Kleos Admits New Delhi · October 2026

Dear families,

For eleven years, my colleagues and I have helped students leave home to study abroad. We have sat with 500+ families through the same long year, and watched their children go on to universities in the US, the UK, Canada, Europe and Australia.

In that time, we learned something we could not ignore. The students with the greatest potential were often the ones we had the least time to help properly. The most selective universities ask for years of genuine intellectual work, and a busy counselling practice cannot give years. So we decided to build one that could.

Kleos Admits is that practice. It is smaller, slower and more demanding than anything we have done before, and it exists for one ambition: to place students at the Ivy League, Stanford, MIT, Oxford, Cambridge and their peers. We have not yet done this under our own name. I will not tell you otherwise. I will tell you that we intend to, and that we have organised everything around it.

That is why the first families matter most. Every great institution had a first class, the people who believed before there was a record to point to. We are inviting ten of them. You will have my attention and that of our most senior mentors, at a ratio we will never offer again, and a fee that reflects the trust you place in us.

We will choose carefully, and we hope you will too. If this letter reads like the beginning of something you want to be part of, I would be glad to talk.

With conviction,

Uttam Rathee

Founder, Kleos Admits

Founding privileges

Our ten founding families join at half our standard fee, fixed for the full length of their program.

We are asking ten families to believe in us before the results do. Half our fee is our way of honouring that belief. It is not a lighter program. It is our most senior one.

Half our standard fee, fixed

Set on the day you join and held for the full program, whether that is one year or five.

The founding team, directly

Direct mentorship from our founders and most senior counsellors. Never a hand-off.

Our lowest ratio, ever

The lowest mentor-to-student ratio we will ever offer: one senior mentor to one student.

First access to everything new

Priority on every program, workshop and resource we launch, for as long as you are with us.

A permanent place

As one of Kleos Admits' ten founding families. There will never be another first class.

A voice in the practice

A direct say in how Kleos Admits evolves: what we build, how we report, what we change.

Who we are looking for

Selected, not enrolled.

Places are not first-come, first-served. We accept only students we believe we can genuinely help, and we will say so plainly if we cannot.

Students

  • Curious beyond the syllabus, and able to say what about
  • Driven by the work itself, not only by the outcome
  • Intellectually serious, in Grades 8 to 12

Families

  • Willing to commit to a journey of several years
  • Who want candour more than reassurance
  • Who would enjoy shaping something new

The process

Four steps, taken unhurriedly.

  1. 1

    Apply

A short, private application. It takes about fifteen minutes.

  2. 2

    A private conversation

With the founding team, in New Delhi or by video. Parents first.

  3. 3

    Student assessment

A conversation with your child about what they read, make and wonder about. Not a test.

  4. 4

    An invitation

If we believe we can genuinely help, we invite your family to join. If not, we tell you why.

Questions, answered honestly

What you should ask us.

Something not covered here? Ask us directly — a founding team member replies within 48 hours.

You are new. Why should we trust you?

The practice is new. The people are not. Our team has eleven years of study-abroad counselling behind it, and the judgement that comes with it.

We ask for your trust in three concrete ways: the commitments we put in writing, a senior mentor you can reach directly, and a termly report that tells you the truth. If we fall short of those, you will know.

Can you guarantee admission?

No one honestly can. Anyone who does is selling something other than advice. What we promise is the work, the attention and the candour described on this site.

When should my child start?

Most families join between Grades 8 and 10. The earlier we begin, the more genuine the work can be: real reading, real projects and real responsibility take years, not months. We also work with Grade 11 and 12 students when we believe we can genuinely help.

Do you work with families outside Delhi, or outside India?

Yes. Sessions run in person in New Delhi or online, and our families live across India and abroad. Your child keeps the same senior mentor either way.

What results have you achieved before?

Over eleven years in study-abroad counselling, our team has guided 500+ students to universities in the US, the UK, Canada, Europe and Australia, including University of Toronto · UCL · NYU · Purdue.

Kleos Admits has not yet placed a student at an Ivy League university. The Founding Cohort will be our first. We would rather you hear that from us, here, than discover it later.

Why half the fee? Does that mean less service?

No. Founding families receive our most senior attention and our lowest ratio. The fee reflects the trust you place in us before our record does, not a lighter program. If anything, you will receive more than any family who follows.

Is the founding fee fixed for the full program?

Yes. It is set in writing when you join and held for every year of your child's program, including any move from Signature to Admissions. Third-party costs, such as university application and test fees, are not included.

What happens after the Founding Cohort?

Once ten places are filled, the cohort closes. Future families join at our standard fee, and the founding privileges are not offered again. Founding families keep theirs for as long as they are with us.

Every great institution had a first class. This is ours.
